Club Planning Meeting NotesThe meeting site has been officially changed to the Mahon Library at 1306-9th St. in the Community room. The room is much larger than the ERA room and there are more chairs and tables available. Todd Bradford has kindly offered to let the club use one of his projectors and the room comes with a large built in screen. The same slate of officers were re-elected. That is President-Ron Mouser, Vice President-Todd Bradford, and Secretary/Treasurer-John Falkner. Then annual "Show & Tell" winner was announced. Congratulations to Cranston Reid who took the top honors, Harriett Feagin 2nd place, and Sharon Mouser 3rd place. The 2010 Club Calendar was developed and the website Event Calendar has been updated. We are in the process of forming committees for field trips and program presenters. If you would be interested in serving on one of those committees please contact Ron Mouser. If you have an idea for a field trip you may also e-mail me.contact Ron or Todd The first program in February is "Night Photography". We will be needing a presenter. If you have any ideas please let me know. |

We will be moving our meeting location to the Mahon Library Community Room, 1306 9th Street . The Library is downtown near the Civic Center and the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts. The club voted that this will become our new permanent meeting location. The meeting room is very comfortable and large enough for our growing membership. |
|
Scheduled meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Meeting time is 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Feel free to arrive a few minutes early and get to know some of the members. If you’re running behind, no problem, you won't be yelled at for sneaking in and finding a seat. See you there! |

Welcome to the Lubbock Camera Club |
|
The Lubbock Camera Club welcomes photographers of all ages and skill levels. Meetings are held monthly and usually consist of a guest speaker one month followed by an intraclub photo contest the following month. Speakers are sometimes related to the next months contest. Please feel free to browse our website and join us as a guest at our next meeting. Please do not be intimidated. Just like the rest of West Texas, we have some of the friendliest and most helpful folks around. See y'all there.
